Tyre pressure control system TSS

An actual example of an application for the integration of a safety system in the CAN / LIN bus is the tyre pressure control system TSS from BERU. The inflation pressure of the tyres is an important variable for traffic safety, driving comfort, tyre life and the fuel consumption of the vehicle. Despite its large significance and many development tests, success has only just been recently achieved in making systems capable of series production for the monitoring of tyre pressure while driving. BERU supplies the only tyre pressure control systems released for initial installation by German automobile manufacturers which avoid flat tyres, protect the environment and ensure the mobility of the vehicle.
