Networking
Operations are carried out in the automobile when the input signals of the sensor technology are received and processed in the control units. It is also possible that different control units need data from the same sensor. For example, the speed of the drive wheels is of great importance for the ABS as well as for the ASR.
So that the correct sensor does not have to be installed several times, it is necessary to make the measurement data of this sensor accessible to several control units. This is done by networking all the control units with each other using a data line. This way they can communicate with each other and request or prepare the desired data.
With the help of networking all the necessary data is available for each control unit. In exactly the same way every control unit can affect every desired actuator in the vehicle.
