Error tolerance during transmission

The voltage level of a LIN bus is subject to certain inaccuracies. This happens because different designs of the transceiver which implements the connection of the control unit to the LIN bus are installed. The voltage level can vary by several tenths of a volt depending on the design. Therefore the LIN bus works with relatively large tolerances in regards to the voltage level.
